RCBA The RCBA was founded in 1931 and is the longest running league in western Canada.

We are a non-profit community organization that offers children aged 5-17 in Regina and surrounding areas the opportunity to play basketball.

Big Mike Martorana checking another one off the list! ✔️🏀

As our younger divisions wrap up their seasons, Michael “Big Mike” Martorana had the special opportunity to referee his final game of the season alongside his son, Aaron. Standing with the Referee-in-Chief(Brian), it was a proud moment and a memory they’ll both carry for years to come.

Best of luck to Big Mike as he continues crossing things off his list on the road to qualifying for the Guinness Book of World Records! 👏

Michael Martorana has been part of the Regina basketball community for over 50 years and reffing for more than THREE decades. He is going for the Guinness World Record for oldest active basketball official.

Steady, fair, and always there for the kids and the game. Legends don’t always wear jerseys… sometimes they carry a whistle. 💙
