It's so cool to see veggies and fruit and microgreens and mushrooms... all coming out of our greenhouse and hydroponics spaces.

Most are destined for The Food Hub, some are being distributed to local businesses... and sometimes, there's even enough to sell to the general public!

🚗 Our big CARnivore event is almost here!

Join us for the 3rd Annual CARnivore Car Show in support of the Red Deer Food Bank.

📍 Alberta Sports Hall of Fame

Come check out some amazing vehicles and enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, a kids’ zone and more. It is free to attend and fun for the whole family!

Yesterday, we were proud to come together for the One Swing Three Causes cheque presentation with the executive directors from all three benefiting organizations: the Red Deer Food Bank, Youth HQ, and Bridges Community Living.

Thank you to the Breakfast Club for the incredible amount of time, energy, and hard work they put into making this event such a success. Your commitment to supporting our community will make a meaningful difference for all three organizations and the people we serve.

We are so grateful for the amazing donations collected through your Plant Bingo! What a fun way to bring people together while also supporting the Red Deer Food Bank and helping local families.

Now that’s how you double your impact! 💛

Red Deer Food Bank board member Paul Harris has generously donated $2,500 to our CARnivore campaign, and thanks to our matching partners The Zukiwsky Group- Scotia Wealth Management & Scotia Bank, that donation becomes $5,000!

We are working toward our $75,000 goal so we can unlock the full match and turn it into $150,000 to help provide meat, eggs, dairy and other essential foods for local families.

Every donation, no matter the size, is matched dollar for dollar, but only until August 31.

Chef Lauren Milne brought taste and creativity to this colourful Mexican dessert - Flan with Candied Lime and Polvorones. We still have 3 spots left in our overflow 'Mole & Masa' class September 15th where each student will take home a slice of this beautiful dessert after a 2-hour, hands-on, Mexican cooking class.
