We are desperately in need of cardboard cat scratchers for our feline friends 🐾🧶! Our condo cats LOVE having something to scratch, stretch, climb, and of course, completely destroy 😂!

🐾 Hendrix had a BLAST on his Doggy Daycation!

What a day for this sweet boy! ❤️ Hendrix headed out for an adventure at Three Mile Bend and absolutely amazed everyone with how much confidence he’s gained.

His fear of other dogs has come such a long way! He calmly let dogs sniff him, sniffed a few himself, and even started wanting to PLAY 🐶! He also discovered that he LOVES swimming, taking a few swims in the river and having a blast in the water 🌊!

Hendrix met lots of new people and children, saw bikes and scooters, and handled everything like a champ. He even met his first cat 🐱! He barked a few times but remained respectful.

He stopped for lunch at Troubled Monk, where he made lots of new friends (and apparently they didn’t even ask for ID😂). Then it was back home for apple picking, sprinkler zoomies and some well earned couch time.

And before heading back to the shelter, there was one final stop…DAIRY QUEEN for a sweet treat sponsored by Dairy Queen Red Deer 🍦!

Hendrix got SO many kisses, cuddles and compliments today. He truly had the best day, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far this sweet, smart boy has come 🐾!
