This September, join the movement to Turn the Town Teal and Open Doors for Local Youth in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Red Deer and District.
Right now, 65 local youth are waiting for a mentor—someone to guide, encourage, and support them on their journey. During Big Brothers Big Sisters Month, we’re inviting businesses to help raise awareness by creating a Turn the Town Teal display or awareness table in your foyer, reception area, storefront, or workplace.

Registered businesses will receive a Turn the Town Teal Starter Kit from Youth HQ, delivered in the final week of August. Each kit includes campaign materials and QR code posters connecting your community to volunteer opportunities, mentorship info, donation options, and more. Get creative, add your own teal flair, and help share the message that 65 youth are waiting for guidance and connection.
Throughout September, we’ll highlight participating businesses—so watch for teal displays across the community and help us spread the word on social media. Every conversation, photo, and shared post helps shine a light on the power of mentorship and community support.
