🐴 Saddle up for an unforgettable summer adventure!

In partnership with the Powell River Therapeutic Riding Society, our Introduction to Horseback Riding camp gives youth ages 8–12 the opportunity to learn the basics of horse care, grooming, stable management, and riding in a fun and supportive environment.

With plenty of hands-on time and four-day camp sessions available throughout the summer, this is the perfect program for young horse enthusiasts and beginners alike.

🐴☀️ Summer Camp Registration is OPEN! ☀️🐴

Ready to spend your summer at the barn? Our Introduction to Horseback Riding camps are now open for registration through Powell River Parks, Recreation & Culture!

Campers will learn horse care, grooming, stable management, riding fundamentals, and more through hands-on activities both on and off the horse.

Spaces are limited and these camps fill quickly, so register early to secure your spot!

We can't wait to welcome a new group of horse enthusiasts this summer. 🐎

Day off well spent for Voodoo. 🐴🤎

Our therapeutic horses work incredibly hard helping riders build confidence, strength, balance, and connection, so their downtime matters just as much as their work. One of the reasons we love our track system is how naturally it supports both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Instead of standing still in a paddock, the horses are encouraged to keep moving throughout the day. Wandering, grazing, socializing, and choosing how they spend their time. That natural movement helps support healthy joints, hooves, fitness, digestion, and overall happiness.

Today Voodoo is enjoying his well-earned day off with a few laps around the track, some freedom, and time to just be a horse. 💨✨
