We meet once a month in Westview to hold space for you. The 4th Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting is Tuesday October 27 @ 6:30 for connection and 7:00pm for our meeting.

Remember you can be that person that hugs someone who needs a hug today. You can be that person who says “How are you today?”, and really listens. When someone is grieving they just want you to hear their words. Not fix them. We are not broken we are grieving and healing. ❤️🤗

Well I am back from our retreat. We held space for 52 parents. They came with heavy hearts. They shared some sadness, they laughed, we swam, we did breath work, and connected in so many ways. They left lighter, with more joy and hope in their hearts. They realized that they do have the courage to survive the unimaginable.
We could not hold space for all of this without a wonderful group of Volunteers. Thank you to everyone❤️🤗

I’m off to Nanaimo for our 3rd Annual Retreat at Bethlehem Retreat Centre. ❤️

This weekend is a space for bereaved parents to pause, breathe, reflect and connect with others who understand.

Together, we’ll explore the STRENGTH we carry within us—even in the face of profound loss.

A weekend of gentle connection, reflection and care awaits. ❤️

Hello friends, we are seeking a ride for our wind phone to make it's way from Texada to Nanaimo this week. It is used as a place to quietly reflect and connect at our bereaved parent retreat. Sadly our trucks brakes need repair and this item will not fit in my car.

The wind phone comes apart into 2 pieces, it is not extremely heavy, just bulky.

If you happen to be going that way and can help us out, we need it there by Thursday morning, Oct. 01.

We are also happy to compensate with a few dollars for time and fuel.

It’s been a while since I posted. Summer busyness and Hayden’s 7th angelversary. This year was very different. I felt a peacefulness that was new coming up to his angelversary. I got out the albums and pictures and placed some more in the albums. I laughed, I cried. I remembered all the good times. I also spent 2 1/2 hours watching his Celebration of Life Video. It was like watching a movie all about Hayden. It warmed my heart. I learned much more about the man he was. What his friends thought of him and how he showed up for them.
What a beautiful gift.
