Youth & Family Powell River supports individuals and families and recognizes that families come in many forms and include the people you care about and those who care about you.
-We believe in promoting community and personal connections and seek to prevent isolation.

to preserve and enhance their important relationships.
-We assist the people we serve to develop the skills to navigate life's challenges through coaching; self-help resources; counselling; and community programs and partnerships. Youth & Family Powell River is a non-profit society and registered charity, operating under the governance of a volunteer Board of Directors representing a cross-section of the Powell River Community. Our services are free, confidential and available in the District of Powell River and surrounding areas. Programs include: Family Centre Library, Support to Foster Care, Youth Engagement Support, Youth Resource Centre, Supports to Strengthen Families, Young Parents Support, Youth Justice, Parent Education Groups, Family Preservation & Reunification
