For over 70 years, the Peterborough Foundation has quietly helped bring local ideas to life, investing over $2 million in our community.

Now it’s your turn.

Applications are open for capital projects until May 1, 2026.

And the best part? The process is simple and designed to support organizations of all sizes, including grassroots groups.

In the most recent funding round, over $28,000 was distributed to support local organizations and community initiatives:
Achieve Charity - $2,000 for Accessibility Equipment
Community Counselling & Resource Centre - $9,327 for Computers and IT Upgrades
Heads Up for Inclusion - $3,000 for Strategic Planning
Kawartha Haliburton Children's Aid Society - $1,900 for Santa Claus Fund Sleigh Signage
PATH - Peterborough Action for Tiny Homes - $4,482 for Washer and Dryer
Peterborough Symphony Orchestra - $4946 for Computer Hardware/Software Upgrades
Watersheds Canada - $3,000 for Backpacks and Learning Materials

The Alzheimer Society Peterborough Kawartha Lakes Northumberland Haliburton works to improve quality of life for people living with dementia. We were pleased to support the creation of a film about dementia care at home with a $4,000 grant.
