In 2025, our Peterborough community came together to raise $146,520.56 through the Terry Fox Community Run and local school events in support of the Terry Fox Foundation.

🏃 Community Run: $45,563.80
🎒 School Events: $100,956.76

Together, that’s $146,520.56 toward a world without cancer.

Terry Fox set out with a simple goal: to raise $1 from every Canadian toward cancer research.

He ran a marathon every day, starting in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and covered more than 5,000 km before cancer forced him to stop.

Terry never finished his run, but Canadians have carried it forward. Today, the Terry Fox Run has raised more than $1 billion for cancer research around the world. 💙🇨🇦

His Marathon of Hope continues- with every step we take.
