Have you had a chance to read our 2025 Highlights Report?
One story from the report that has really stayed with us is about TRACKS (Trent Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge and Science).
Each year, TRACKS reaches more than 3,000 Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth through hands-on environmental education grounded in both Indigenous Knowledge and Western science.
What stands out is how learning happens. Young people learn directly from the land, guided by instructors and Elders, while older youth step into leadership roles by mentoring younger participants. It's a model built on relationships, responsibility, and care.
At a time when conversations about climate change and reconciliation can feel overwhelming, TRACKS offers something hopeful: young people learning together, caring for the land, and carrying that knowledge forward.
It's one of many stories featured in our 2025 Highlights Report. We hope you'll take a few minutes to read it.
