Over the past several days, we have introduced some of the instructors and safety leaders who bring Canada Safety Council programs to life across the country.
Their backgrounds span child and youth safety, off-road vehicle training and professional transportation. Their experiences differ, but a common thread connects them: a commitment to sharing practical knowledge that helps people make safer decisions.
These profiles have also shown that safety education is never a one-size-fits-all exercise. It may mean helping a young person prepare to stay home alone, challenging an experienced rider to reconsider what they think they already know, or passing along lessons earned through decades on the road.
We are grateful to Karen, Jim, Pierre and Arnie for sharing their time, experience and stories with us, and to the many instructors and volunteers across Canada who support this work every day.
The people behind safety may teach in different settings, serve different communities and draw from different experiences. Together, they help extend the Canada Safety Councilโs reach from coast to coast, turning safety knowledge into action in the communities they serve.
