Our team has now arrived in Honduras!

After visiting our partner ADCASMUS in El Salvador, the World Accord team, alongside the Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO), are continuing their journey with our partner ASOCIALAYO.

Here, EFO is laying the groundwork for a new egg production initiative that will support rural families with reliable nutrition and additional income. As with the project in El Salvador, the goal is to support rural families with practical tools that strengthen livelihoods and improve food security.

Grateful for partnerships like these!

World Accord is on the ground in El Salvador with the Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO)!

This week, EFO is visiting our partner ADCASMUS to launch a new laying hens project focused on strengthening food security and family incomes.

Several wives of long-time farmers have expressed their hope of joining this initiative. The additional income for families from eggs could mean buying another animal, investing in land, or cushioning the blow of a failed harvest, especially at a time when farming feels more uncertain than ever.

Stay tuned for more updates from the team as they travel to Honduras to support a similar initiative with our partner ASOCIALAYO!
