Our partner in Nepal needs our support.

We are deeply saddened by the devastating floods that have recently struck our partner communities in Nepal, bringing loss, destruction and uncertainty to families already facing enormous challenges.

Our partner, WPD Nepal works alongside women and marginalized communities to build stronger, more resilient livelihoods. Today, those communities are once again facing the devastating impacts of disaster.

And we have to ask: who bears the greatest cost of the climate crisis?

Nepal contributes very little to global greenhouse gas emissions, yet its communities are increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather, flooding, landslides and other climate-related hazards.

Those who have contributed the least to the climate crisis are often the ones forced to bear its greatest consequences.

This is climate injustice.

This is why solidarity matters.

Our partners in Nepal have stood alongside their communities through crisis after crisis. Now, we stand with them.

Climate Justice is Not a Slogan. It is a matter of Survival.

Nepal, home to the world’s highest mountains and fragile Himalayan glaciers, is on the frontline of a climate emergency. This photograph is of Judhane ward no 8, . The heavy rain has eroded the land, putting home of Seti Tamang, one of the members of Manakamana at risk.

Recent flash floods have swept away homes, settlements and vital infrastructure, leaving hundreds dead and thousands missing or displaced.
Climate change is not abstract, it is people losing their homes, livelihoods and futures. Governments around the world must move beyond promises. . . Invest in . Deliver to those on the frontline.

Our first-ever Accord Adventure has come to an end!

We are so grateful to Asocialayo for welcoming us to Honduras and sharing their incredible knowledge, experiences, and communities with us. We learned so much throughout this journey and are leaving with a deeper appreciation for the power of community-led development.

Accord Adventures is in full swing!

We’ve learned about the incredible work of Asocialayo, met farmers working to improve seeds for their communities, hiked Santa Bárbara Mountain to discover the incredible local environment, visited schools in the area, met students and educators, and learned about the locals grind corn to make tortillas!

So much learning, connection, and adventure in just a few days!

Our team has now arrived in Honduras!

After visiting our partner ADCASMUS in El Salvador, the World Accord team, alongside the Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO), are continuing their journey with our partner ASOCIALAYO.

Here, EFO is laying the groundwork for a new egg production initiative that will support rural families with reliable nutrition and additional income. As with the project in El Salvador, the goal is to support rural families with practical tools that strengthen livelihoods and improve food security.
