At our events, you'll hear from leading scholars and experts on the economic, philosophical, and political underpinnings of a free society and the classical liberal tradition, and engage with these id

The ILS offers a wide range of opportunities for students to engage with and build understand the ideas of freedom, and further their careers. At ILS events, students hear from leading scholars and experts on the economic, philosophical, and political cornerstones of a free society, and get the opportunity to engage with other students on these ideas. Our student events include:

• Socratic Seminars
• On-Campus and Online Lectures

The ILS also offers fellowship and bursary opportunities to students that include:
• The Summer Fellowship
• The Dobson Bursary
• The PPE Graduate Fellowship

The ILS welcomes professors at accredited post-secondary institutions= to attend on-campus lectures, work with the ILS to bring a lecture to their campus, or apply for a grant to support the organization of guest lectures, reading groups, and other activities at university campuses across Canada.
