We want to wish a Happy Second Birthday to Charlie!
 
Charlie was born 13 weeks early. After spending eight weeks at Sunnybrook, he was able to return home to the NICU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, where he spent six weeks before finally going home.
 
This was made possible by the specialized equipment funded by donor support.
 
Last year, Charlie’s family celebrated his first birthday by making a donation to Lakeridge Health Foundation in support of the NICU and inviting friends and family to contribute as well, in gratitude for the incredible team who cared for him every step of the way.
 
Today, we wanted to re-share Charlie’s story to show you the impact of your support, and to remind you that if you’re looking for a special way to celebrate one of life’s milestones, making a donation to Lakeridge Health Foundation and supporting local health care is a meaningful way to celebrate.
