Pineridge Bluegrass Folklore Society The Pineridge Bluegrass Folklore Society is a registered non-profit corporation and our aim is to promote and preserve bluegrass music.

Founded November 13, 1977, the Pineridge Bluegrass Folklore Society is a registered non-profit corporation and our aim is to promote and preserve bluegrass music. The Bluegrass Club meets once a month at the Woodview Community Centre, 151 Cadillac Avenue North, Oshawa, Ontario and it's always on a Sunday afternoon, September to June, from 1 to 5pm. Admission is $4 for non-members and $2 for members. A family membership for one year is $20.

Kimberly Brent Wallace
Suddenly at the Kemptville District Hospital on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Kim Wallace of Spencerville, age 64. Beloved partner of Lisa Pigeau. Loving Dad of Brent (Shannon), Matthew (Megan), Shawn (Katrina), Melissa (Jon) and Jay (Jazz). Cherished Grandpa of Will, Logan, Amira, Raegan, Madi, Ryan, Jensen, Dominic, Audrey, Clayton, Rory, and William. Loved and missed by his siblings Kevin (Olwen) and Pam (Brad) Gaw. Dear son-in-law of Marlene Pigeau. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Shirley (Nee Grant) and Lawrence Wallace.
A Private Visitation was held with a Cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Drummond Building 22 Ryan Street, Spencerville on Saturday November 15, 2025 from 3 p.m. onward- Everyone Welcome. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Kim may be made to the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival.
