Our RBC Hero Award Recipient, Terry Johnston!

Gary here. On behalf of everyone here at CKDO and Durham Radio, I'd like to congratulate our very own Terry Johnston. This past Sunday at the Ride For The Ridge, he was given the RBC Hero Award, recognizing an individual who exemplifies the connection between community and health care and demonstrates a commitment to advancing care throughout Durham Region. Terry has been an advocate for local health care for two decades. He is a passionate and colourful champion, a cancer survivor, donor, avid cyclist and a constant voice throughout Durham Region. He's been a hero here for over 30 years!! Well done TJ!!

There were actually 437 riders that helped raise over $303,000 for the Hospitals of Lakeridge Health.
