Arts Immersion is a participant-centered, community-based program that uses creative mentorship to foster connection, confidence, and well-being for individuals facing mental health and access barriers. By pairing participants with professional Artist Mentors, the program creates safe, flexible pathways for artistic expression that reduce isolation and support personal growth.
✨ Meet one of our Artist Mentors - Jessica ✨
Jessica studied fine art and design for seven years at the Helen and Arches Centre for Art, graduating in 2012 with concentrations in Interior Design, Jewelry & Metals, and Goldsmithing 🌟
Guided by a deep respect for nature and sustainable practices, her work celebrates the harmony between organic form and minimalist design.
Through her business, Toadally Jewelry, Jessica blends ancient goldsmithing techniques dating back to 1300 BC with modern design and sustainability, creating work that reflects both the beauty of imperfection and the connection between material and maker. Beyond jewelry, she works in beadwork, printmaking, murals, painting, and even music and yoga, encouraging creativity in all its forms.
As Jessica says:
💬 “I believe that when we lift one another, we all rise. Supporting others in finding their creativity, expression, and strength is at the heart of my work.”
💬 “Art has always been a part of my life… perfectly imperfect, just as it’s meant to be.”
As a mentor with Arts Immersion, Jessica inspires participants to explore multiple mediums, find their own voice, and embrace the joy and growth that come from creative expression in a safe and supportive environment.
