Happy Father’s Day to all the father figures in our lives! 💙

Today we celebrate the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, and role models who guide, support, and inspire us every day. Thank you for your love, your sacrifices, your strength, and for always being there when we need you most.

Yesterday was our Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR), the final parade of the cadet year, where our cadets had the opportunity to showcase everything they have learned and accomplished throughout the year.

The cadets did an outstanding job, and our Drill Team put on an impressive display. Despite being a smaller team made up primarily of junior cadets, they demonstrated dedication, teamwork, and professionalism.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients on your well-deserved recognition!

As we wrap up another successful year, remember that the Cadet are back in September for another great year!

This really is Canada's best youth program.

Area Directed Activities are an event where cadets are challenged, staff have high expectations, and plans don't always go exactly as intended. In the end, none of that matters as long as the cadets are having fun, learning new skills, and creating lasting memories.

Despite the cold nights and hot days, these cadets pushed through every challenge and made the experience an enjoyable and rewarding one.

Throughout the weekend, cadets participated in aerodrome facility tours, sports and games, first aid training, search and rescue activities, and shelter building. These are valuable skills and experiences they can carry with them for years to come.

Most importantly, they built friendships, gained confidence, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Well done to all the cadets and staff who made this event a success!

The car ride home got quiet pretty quickly! We know we did our job packing 3 days full of fun, adventure, and nonstop activities when everyone is passed out within 5 minutes of hitting the road. Safe to say this Senior Trip was a success! 😴

And just like that, our Senior Trip adventure comes to an end!

Our final stop brought us to the Great Lakes Museum, where we explored the legendary S.S. Keewatin — built in 1907 and somehow still looking better than most of us after three days of adventure, late nights, and nonstop laughs. Even cooler? She’s older than the RMS Titanic and the last of her kind, still around today. Walking through the ship felt like stepping straight into a different era of travel and history.

Now it’s time for one last food stop, one last head count, and one long nap on the ride home.

From museums and military history to haunted walks, fireworks, tours, laughs, and memories we won’t forget — Kingston, you did not disappoint.

It’s been a slice, Kingston… until next time!
