The Oakville Optimist Club is proud to continue our long-standing support for local youth sports. Recently, our very own club member, Tom, had the honor of presenting a donation cheque to the Oakville Soccer Club (OSC)!

We love seeing our community’s young athletes thrive, teamwork grow, and active leadership take the field. A huge thank you to OSC for everything they do to keep Oakville’s youth moving and inspired.

Last night, we celebrated 16 talented winners at the Oakville Optimist Art Contest Awards Night. It was a privilege to showcase work from JK to Grade 12 students who poured their hearts into this year's themes.

In addition, we also celebrated the three winners from our Essay contest who competed against numerous other essays this year. The writing form the three winners was very inspirational.

Congratulations to all our winners and a big shoutout to the parents and teachers who support these budding artists every day! 🏆🎨

🐰 Another Egg-cellent Success in Oakville!

What an incredible day we had yesterday! The Oakville Junior Optimists were thrilled to host another successful Easter event for our local youth. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, filled with the pure excitement of kids playing games and getting prizes, getting faces painted, and hunting for hidden Easter eggs.

A few major highlights from the day:
• A Special Guest: The Easter Bunny hopped by to help lead the hunt and snap some photos with our participants!
• Youth Leadership: A massive shout-out to our Junior Optimist members and our adult volunteers—your hard work and energy are what make these community traditions possible.
• Local Support: We are sending a huge "Thank You" to Red Swan Pizza (Cross Ave) for their incredible generosity, providing enough delicious pizza to keep both our hard-working volunteers and all the kids who joined us throughout the afternoon fueled and happy!
• Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We love seeing our community come together to create such wonderful memories for the kids.
