We exist to come alongside and support the missional work that is advancing in Africa & globally, through the grace and guidance of the Lord.

We facilitate ministry and support through our Canadian missionaries, primarily in Mozambique, Cambodia & Malawi. Iris Ministries Canada is passionate to see more of the Kingdom of God brought to this earth, most especially by caring for the poor, the broken, the lost and the forgotten. We all have been deeply touched and drawn by the love and the ministry that flows out through the greater Iris family network. We are watching amazed as the Lord provides all that we need, and learning as never before that truly, because Jesus died, there will always be enough. It is on this foundational truth that IMC rests. Registered Charitable Business Number: 80492 1872 RR0001

This quote from RT Kendall rings true, when we prioritize God above everything else in our lives it can look counterintuitive but it actually brings order and balance in a way that would otherwise not be possible. May we pursue God above every other ambition.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."
Matthew 5:6

Quote is from R. T. Kendall's book The Parables of Jesus: A Guide to Understanding and Applying the Stories Jesus Told.

In Bangula, Malawi this support group for children with cerebral palsy gathers once a month to receive encouragement and strength to continue. Both children and parents enjoy singing and dancing together as we meet. This is proof that the joy of the Lord is our strength!

“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭95‬:‭2‬ ‭

Happy Educators Day! The staff in Zimpeto, Mozambique recently celebrated our teachers and recognized the significant part they play in the development of our children. We are grateful to have such dedicated staff who create a Christ centred learning environment. Iris Zimpeto operates both a registered primary school and a secondary school educating over 1,350 students!

Your support of this program is invaluable, a big thank you from our staff to you!

"For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy."

May we rest on the Word of God as our firm foundation through all the highs and lows of life. IMC missionary Joel Fabok is pictured here preaching at a rural church near their base in Dondo, Mozambique. This Sunday church visit is an opportunity to support this local body and encourage their pastor. To learn more about the Fabok family and the work at Iris Dondo please see our website.

"The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever."

We are so thankful for the hope of heaven. It has been a difficult week for the Iris Global Pemba community as they held a memorial service for Pastor Zito, Pastor Balança and his wife Ermalinda. All three were incredible examples of a life laid down for Jesus and will be remembered as heroes in the faith. Please continue to pray for their families as they grieve and for healing for Pastor Agusto who is still in hospital after the accident.

"He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds."
Psalm 147:3

Calling all coffee lovers! We are so excited to announce our Coffee Partnership Program between Iris Ministries Canada, Saints on Main & Chomno Coffee Co ជំនោរ កាហ្វេ . It is a collaboration to raise awareness and support for the work of IMC missionary Jen Jewett and Iris Phnom Penh . Iris Phnom Penh is located in Cambodia where Jen has been a long term missionary since 2013. She started a coffee shop in the red-light district of Phnom Penh called Chomno Coffee Co. which has become the backdrop to many incredible ministry opportunities.

You can purchase a bag of coffee at Iris GTA on Sunday mornings and all proceeds fund the ongoing work there. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make this program possible!

This Iris Malawi Bible School classroom is a place of transformation and development for pastors from all over the country. Our prayer is that each student grows in integrity, faithfulness and knowledge of the Word so they can be strong leaders within their families, churches and communities.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Psalm 119:105

My Utmost for His Highest is a beloved devotional based on the teachings of Oswald Chambers. The book was compiled after his passing by his wife, Biddy Chambers, who transcribed his teachings over the years. Originally published in 1927, it now has more than 13 million copies printed worldwide. The wisdom and insight within its pages will both challenge and inspire you to:

"Shut out every other consideration and keep yourself before God for this one thing only - My Utmost for His Highest. I am determined to be absolutely and entirely for Him and for Him alone." Oswald Chambers
