Did you know? 🛠️

The skilled trades shortage is affecting more than just major construction projects. In the GTA, a lack of qualified tradespeople can also delay retail and restaurant construction. 🏗️🛠️

The demand for skilled workers continues to grow, while Canada is facing a wave of retirements across the trades. More than 245,000 construction workers are projected to retire by 2032, creating a potential shortfall of more than 61,000 workers. 🚧👷

That’s why creating accessible pathways into the skilled trades is so important. By providing hands-on training, industry experience and employment support, Construct is helping prepare the next generation of workers to meet the demand. 📈
