We develop innovative programs and seek partnerships that will meet the needs of those in distress or who are struggling to provide the basic necessities for themselves and their families. will help us provide essential programs and services for people in need, and their children in particular.

⛳️ Registration is now open for the Kerr Street Classic Annual Golf Day!

Join us on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Piper’s Heath Golf Club in Milton for a day of golf, connection, and community impact.

This year, proceeds from the Golf Classic will help create a dedicated youth space at Kerr Street Mission. This update will provide a place where young people can build confidence, develop meaningful connections, and strengthen their emotional well-being in a safe and welcoming environment.

Funds raised will also support the expansion of our Leadership in Training (LIT) Program, providing youth with hands-on learning experiences, volunteer opportunities, mentorship, and leadership development that will equip them for the future.

A heartfelt graduation congratulations and thank you to Reem Taylor and Marcel Wysocki on receiving recognition from the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA) for their outstanding community design work with Kerr Street Mission.

Through this project, they created a thoughtful design concept for our new Youth Room (included in our Impact Starts Here campaign).

They designed the new space including planning, furniture selection, and collaboration with local showrooms and suppliers to help bring the vision to life.

More than just designing a room, Reem and Marcel helped create a space where youth can feel safe, supported, inspired, and connected. Their professionalism, creativity, passion for design, and genuine desire to give back to the community have left a meaningful impact at KSM, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and intention they brought to this project.

Thank you both for helping us create spaces where belonging and opportunity can grow. 💛

Summer is coming soon and it can be one of the hardest times for families facing
food insecurity. While the need continues to grow, donations
often slow down.

You can help support local families by donating most-
needed items like:

Cereal (hot & cold), Peanut butter, Granola bars (peanut free), Crackers, Juice, Canned vegetables, fruit, tomatoes & meat, Pasta sauce, Soup, Legumes and much-needed Personal hygiene products.

Donate online or drop off items here at KSM during our opening hours.

You shopped and helped send 30 kids to camp this summer!!

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible local businesses, donors, and community supporters who generously contributed to Kerr Street Mission’s Mother’s Day Auction.

Because of your generosity, together we raised close to $9,000, enough to fund 30 summer camp spots for children in our community. ☀️🎒🌈

To every business that donated products, experiences, gift certificates, and support: thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the next generation. Your generosity will create ripple effects far beyond summer.

Spring cleaning your pantry this weekend? Please think of us!
At Kerr Street Mission, our shelves stay full because of neighbours like you. As you shop and sort this spring, please keep our most-needed items in mind to add to your cart or clear out your cupboards:

Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Fresh produce
Personal hygiene items
Extra reusable bags — we use them every single day in our markets

A small but important note: every item must be unopened and before its expiry date. Our staff and sorting volunteers work hard to keep our markets stocked, and to keep the health and dignity of our clients at the heart of everything we do.
One bag of groceries. One tube of toothpaste. One reusable tote. It all adds up to something extraordinary for a family in our community.
