HSH will be hosting a Paint and Sip fundraiser to celebrate Galentine’s! 🩷💜❤️

This event combines art, community, and support for a great cause. 🎨 🖌️🖼️

Join them on Wednesday, February 12th from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mo’s Family Restaurant (467 Speers Rd, Oakville) for an evening of creativity and camaraderie. We have partnered with You & I Paint to provide a fun and engaging painting experience for all attendees. Don’t worry if you’ve never painted before - their talented instructors will guide you every step of the way!

Not only will you have a fantastic time tapping into your creative side, but all proceeds from this event will directly support Home Suite Hope’s mission to empower single parent families on their journey from poverty to stability.

Our favourite Charity, Home Suite Hope, is already ramping up their efforts to make the holidays special for many deserving families in 3 incredible ways:

1. Sponsor a Family - Support families by purchasing and donating items on their wish lists on our website (see link in bio to the Families Wish Lists - apply named!). Gifts can be purchased and dropped off at our office on or before
November 22nd, 2024. Please select your first and second choice of the family you would like to sponsor this year. (If you would like to sponsor more than one family please provide a list of your two top picks and two alternatives).

2. Household & General Donations - Donate much-needed household and general items such as cleaning products and personal hygiene products. Donations can be dropped off at our office.

3. Gift Card Donations - Donate gift cards, which families use as additional support. If you can help, please donate the gift cards most used by participants – Walmart, grocery and gas gift cards. Gift cards can be dropped off at our office or purchased online at CanadaHelps (see link in bio) and earmarked for Home Suite Hope Gift Cards.

Our Heartfelt Thanks

During a Mom’s Night Out in 2017, a group of 5 friends dreamt up a unique way to support local female small business owners while raising funds for Halton charities through a social shopping event we named “Wish List”. The vision was to create something fun for local SEOMoms (and beyond) to enjoy, while supporting local businesses and ultimately sharing our good fortunes with those in need in the Halton community. Our first event in 2017 prioritized empowering local female entrepreneurs but we quickly realized we had underestimated our network’s appetite for charitable giving. We were SO inspired by everyone’s eager generosity.

Over the years, because of the support of our community, WishList has transformed into so much more than its humble beginnings. We are so privileged to not only promote the local small businesses we cherish in our community but also support so many important local charities Food4Kids Halton, SafetyNet, Kerr St Mission and Home Suite Hope.

WishList has been an amazing community effort each year that has now become a firmly established tradition. We thank you for teaming with us to make a positive difference in our community.
