☕💙 Rotary Passport Club Visits BU Café & Market in Oakville!

Our Rotary Passport Club enjoyed meeting at BU Café & Market in downtown Oakville, a wonderful local business that is brewing up more than just great coffee! It’s building inclusion, opportunity, and community!

BU Café & Market, located at 77 Lakeshore Road West, was founded by mother-and-son team Karen and Jacob with a meaningful mission: to create opportunities for people with disabilities to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging.

“BU” stands for “Be You” — a beautiful reminder that everyone deserves the opportunity to share their talents and be themselves. Along with coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, and specialty drinks, the café also features locally made products, including BU Candles. Perfect for Fall!🍁

As Rotarians, we believe in the power of service, inclusion, and strengthening our communities. Supporting inspiring local businesses like BU Café & Market is a wonderful way to celebrate those values in action. ❤️

Thank you to BU Café & Market for welcoming our club and showing us how a simple cup of coffee can help create meaningful connections and make a difference!

Our Rotary Passport Club South Members and Halton Rotaract had a fantastic time volunteering alongside the Rotary Club of Burlington Central at Lakeside À La Carte!

It was a beautiful summer day filled with great food, drinks, sunshine, and even better company. ☀️🍴🍷 We were happy to lend a hand and be part of such a fun outdoor community event while connecting with fellow Rotarians and friends.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Burlington Central in support of various local charities, Lakeside À La Carte is a wonderful example of how our Rotary community comes together to have fun, give back, and make a difference. ❤️

A big thank you to the Rotary Burlington Central for having us and to all the volunteers, restaurants, wineries, breweries and supporters who helped make this event such a success!

🙌 Great weather, great people, great cause!

No matter the season, the need for blood is constant. ❤️

As Rotarians, we believe in Service Above Self! Donating blood is one simple way we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others in our community.

Every blood donation helps support patients in need, from those undergoing medical treatments and surgeries to people facing emergencies.

We encourage our members, families, friends, and community to consider donating if you are eligible. Your time could help give someone the chance to heal, recover, and return home to their loved ones.

❤️ One donation can make a difference.

Want to join us for our next group blood donation? You can join our Rotary blood donation team and stay updated on upcoming group donation opportunities!
