Thank you Slocan Valley Co-operative and Federated Co-operatives Ltd!

Founded in 2016, the Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association - KERPA has responded to critical calls in the Kootenay Region with an immediate threat to life, bringing Dr. Nic Sparrow and multiple volunteer physicians directly to scenes to support emergency services. With the support of the Co-operative Retailing System, the Slocan Valley Co-op is proud to provide a contribution of $20,000 to KERPA to support their valuable efforts to provide critical care in our region, and especially the rural communities at greater distance from primary and emergency care facilities. - Pictured L-to-R is Co-op Board President, Doug Baxter - Co-op Consumer Operations Manager, Charlie Fedora - KERPA Dr. Nic Sparrow - and Co-op General Manager, Chris Sapriken.
