Yesterday at NACHC, our community came together to remember those we’ve lost to overdose and support one another.

A beautiful photographic collage was created to honour loved ones lost to overdose, while participants shared their experiences and memories over a community BBQ.

Thank you to Pam, Alexis, Kierstin and Taylor from Addiction & Mental Health Services - KFLA in Napanee for being part of the day and for all the work that went into making it happen. And thank you to everyone from the community and local service providers who stopped by, shared a meal, connected with others and helped make the gathering so special.

We remember. We honour. We keep showing up for each other.

The RFLA hiking group enjoyed a wonderful morning in Prince Edward County.

We started the day at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory where we were able to view some bird banding and get an up close view at some birds! Next we took a wander down the beach to the point traverse trail and got some fantastic views over the cliff edges! We finished our day at Little Bluffs for another walk with clifftop views and a visit to the grainery before enjoying a rest, Snack, and swim at the beach. We hike every 2 weeks so if you'd like to join us next time please email [email protected]
