It is so important to let a Scouter know how they’ve impacted your life. Most people don’t realize this, but we do everything we do as volunteers. We don’t get paid. We don’t get bonuses. And honestly, we rarely even hear whether we’re doing a good job or if something needs to change.

Yet every single year, we have 20 or more children depending on us — to teach them, encourage them, cheer for them, and care for them. And we do. We care deeply.

Some of these kids stay in our lives long after Beavers, Cubs, or Scouts. Some come back as Scouters themselves, some return as parents, and some simply stay connected because those early years mattered that much. That’s the impact Scouters have — often quietly, without ever being told.

Feeling appreciated isn’t about ego. It’s about knowing that the countless hours, the planning, the energy, the patience, the heart we pour into your children actually makes a difference. That feeling is what keeps us committed. It’s what keeps us showing up.

So please — take three minutes today and thank your Scouters. Your words might be the reason they stay, the reason they keep giving, the reason they continue to shape the next generation. It matters more than you know.

It's that time of year again! It's time for Scout Trees!!

The Cubs will all be in Quinte Area to plant tree and bush saplings in partnership with Quinte Conservation on Sunday May 3rd!
This fundraiser is to help support our year around programming for our 1st Napanee Scouting Group for all our sections from Beavers to Venturers. Our amazing camps, rock climbing, treetop trekking, canoeing, kayaking, hikes, rally, building cool things like the soap box cars, STEM activities are all made possible by this fundraising. They also help make sure our scouters have all the training they need including First Aid and CPR so they don't have to pay out of pocket to volunteer with our group.

The bonus to this fundraiser that is unique to our group is that we get to give back to the community and build habitats for animals, help with preventing erosion by rivers and improve air quality.

Everyone wins with this fundraiser! The youth who participate get a portion of the funds raised to help offset their costs for these amazing adventures as well.

We will collect cash, etransfer ([email protected]) every donation helps so any amount that you can donate will be accepted with gratitude! If you have a Beaver, Cub, Scout or Venturer at your door with a uniform on it's legit!

3rd day of learn to curl at Napanee and District Curling Club for the Cubs. They have improved so much over the 3 sessions!! Thank you Napanee and District Curling Club for allowing our cubs to come and learn to curl! Thank you to the experienced Scouts who helped the Cubs tweak their techniques and learn even more about the game!
