Cycling Without Age - Mississauga

We recently provided Elizabeth of Port Credit Residences and her sister, Barbara, a 'Golden Moments' ride through the Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area fulfilling her desire to revisit Marie Curtis Park where she spent many afternoons with young children while her husband worked at the Lakeview Generating Station. It was a ride down memory lane remembering her late husband and marvelling at how much the area had changed.

A romantic ride along the pier at J.J.Plaus Park in Port Credit for these two lovebirds who were celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary!

We did a milestone 70th Wedding Anniversary ride yesterday for Alicia & Carlos from Chartwell Regency Retirement Residence . We had great weather for the ride but lost all three balloons to gusts of wind. We all had a blast.

Caught up with Councillor Stephen Dasko on our rides out of Chartwell Regency Retirement Residence on a windy October day in Port Credit. Brought joy to several residents who appreciated the snug windproof blanket. Met some furry friends and fishermen along the trails.

CWA Vancouver in the news again.

Many Vancouver seniors are hitching a ride with Cycling Without Age, a volunteer-powered charity that gives older adults the opportunity to get outside on three-wheeled e-bicycles.

We met up with Mo from Dar-es-Salaam on his 74th birthday and our happy passengers spread the cheer by singing to him! He wore his life motto on his hat: Hakuna Matata!!
