💧 August 13, 2026 Update: Jhakur Imam Shah Water Filtration Plant Is Finally Ready to Serve!

In just 75 days, this vital project progressed from an idea to a fully operational water filtration plant. From project planning and land acquisition to equipment procurement, construction, installation, testing, and monitoring—every stage was completed with one urgent purpose: to provide safe, clean drinking water to the entire community of Jhakur Imam Shah.

This initiative was driven by growing concerns about cancer and other serious illnesses associated with unsafe and contaminated water.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Faisal Khan, a local resident who first brought this urgent need to our attention and then managed every stage of the project tirelessly, day and night.

We are also deeply grateful to the labourers who worked through the scorching heat of June and July to make this project a reality.

Special thanks to Abdullah Sahib, our dedicated team member, who travelled to the site, helped maintain the project’s momentum, and made the opening possible. 🙏

Rather than inviting a VIP to inaugurate the plant, we requested that its operation be officially started by a patient and survivor affected by the community’s toxic water. This meaningful moment reminded us exactly why this project was so urgently needed.

It has been incredible to witness this journey from the very beginning to its completion. Our sincere gratitude goes to all our , whose compassion and responsiveness made safe drinking water accessible to this community.

Gaza Update | August 4, 2026

Another tent has been provided to shelter a displaced Palestinian family, with the generous support of Tazkiya Academy.

Writing these words from the comfort and security of my own home, while sharing the story of a family that is desperate—and yet deeply grateful—for the simple shelter you can see in this video, is profoundly painful.

We are living through extraordinarily difficult times, witnessing a level of human suffering that is difficult to comprehend. Perhaps one of the greatest dangers of witnessing such misery day after day is becoming desensitized to it.

We hope we can hold on to both our compassion and our sanity—and continue doing whatever is within our means to make life a little less painful for our Palestinian brothers and sisters who have been displaced in their own land.

The Power of Sharing, together with our partners and supporters, remains committed to helping displaced Palestinian families with shelter and other essential humanitarian needs.

Every tent provides more than temporary shelter. It offers a family a small measure of privacy, dignity, and protection amid unimaginable circumstances.

July 27 – Water 💦 Filtration Plant Update

Another important milestone achieved.

✅ 110 feet of sewage line installed
✅ 13-inch boundary wall construction completed, connecting the filtration plant to the main road.

Every step brings us closer to providing safe, clean drinking water to a community that has waited far too long.

Must see the joy!

What a beautiful sight! Just look at these smiling faces as our water filtration plant reaches its final phase.

The motor is now installed, for now drawing water from a 600-foot-deep bore well considering the need. After successful safety testing, the water is also good for drinking.

Every smile matters since it compliments life 💙💧
