Golden Connections | Workshop 1

Yesterday, August 8, marked the beginning of our first Seniors Workshop under Golden Connections, held at Century Gardens Recreation Centre, Brampton — and what a beautiful afternoon it was!

With 23 seniors and 10+ dedicated volunteers, the afternoon was filled with laughter, meaningful connections, shared experiences, and learning.
More than just a workshop, it was a space where seniors could come together, share their voices, learn something new, and simply enjoy being part of a community.

We are grateful to every senior who joined us and every volunteer who helped make the afternoon special.

This is just the beginning. Here’s to creating more connections, sharing more stories, and building a stronger community together.

We're excited to invite community members to the very first **Golden Connections** workshop by UNITED SIKHS Canada!

This workshop is designed to bring seniors together for an afternoon of learning, meaningful conversations, and building new friendships in a warm and welcoming environment.
