💕 A Warm Welcome to Vondy House! 💕

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Véronique Arsenault and Deputy Mayor Paddy Quinn for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit Vondy House.

They were warmly welcomed by our dedicated staff and members of our Board of Directors, who had the pleasure of sharing our unique model of care and the many ways we support individuals and families in our community.

During their visit, they toured our newly renovated palliative care rooms and learned more about the compassionate, personalized care that makes Vondy House such a special place.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a little homemade hospitality! Our guests enjoyed freshly baked cinnamon rolls, lovingly prepared in-house by our caring staff. ❤️

We are grateful for their interest, their time, and their continued support of our community and the important work we do.

At Vondy House, compassion, comfort, and community are always at the heart of everything we do.

🏡 A Heartfelt Welcome to Vondy House!
We were deeply honored to extend a warm welcome to Daniel Allain, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick, and MLA Michelle Conroy during their recent visit to Vondy House!

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our unique model of care for residential hospice and give them a guided tour of our newly renovated palliative care rooms.

We are so grateful to both of them for taking time out of their busy schedules to stop by, meet with our dedicated board members and staff, and show such genuine interest in advancing compassionate palliative care right here in New Brunswick. Thank you for visiting us! 💛

A Heartfelt Welcome to Vondy House
It was our pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to Premier Susan Holt, Minister John Dornan, Deputy Minister Eric Beaulieu, MLA Sam Johnston, and their respective delegations during their visit to Vondy House.
Our guests had the opportunity to meet with members of the Hospice Board and staff to learn more about our unique model of care, the compassionate support we provide to residents and their families, and the many community outreach programs that extend our services far beyond our residential hospice.
During their visit, they experienced firsthand our state-of-the-art cuddle beds, which expand to allow family members to lie close to their loved ones during life’s most precious and difficult moments. These beds beautifully reflect comfort, dignity, and togetherness that are at the heart of hospice care.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Premier Holt, Minister John Dornan, Deputy Minister Eric Beaulieu, MLA Sam Johnston, and their respective delegations during their visit for taking the time to visit, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations about the important work we do and the challenges we face.
Of course, no visit to Vondy House would be complete without a little homemade warmth! Sharing warm apple pie and a few laughs reminded us that even when discussing serious and important matters, there is always room for kindness, connection, and community.

Home for the Holidays to Bring Community Together for Local Nonprofits

The Miramichi Golf & Country Club will be transformed into a festive showcase from November 27 - 29, 2026 during Home for the Holidays, a community Christmas Tree Festival and Silent Auction supporting local nonprofit organizations.

Guests will enjoy beautifully decorated Christmas trees, holiday music, warm apple c***r and a silent auction featuring donated items from local businesses and community members.

Participating nonprofits will decorate and display themed Christmas trees, with proceeds from their tree auctions benefiting their organizations. Local businesses are also invited to sponsor and decorate trees to benefit Vondy House should they wish.

The event celebrates the generosity and spirit of the season while helping ensure local nonprofits have the resources they need to continue serving the community.

🍂What a beautiful Fall day for Vondy House's Hike for Hospice!🍂

The weather was gorgeous and we had a record number of walkers this year!

💫Special mention to the Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club for letting us use their trail and club house year after year.💫

🤸‍♀️We were entertained by the amazingly talented youth of the River Force Cheer Academy - not only did they raise a lot of money but they also created an original cheer for Vondy House!🙌
