The Nepisiguit Salmon Association / Association du saumon Nepisiguit is having a fundraising raffle box. The prize consists of a 3-day fishing trip at the Country Haven Lodge Miramichi. This includes two nights accommodation, professional guides, boats, all meals and access to private salmon pools on the Southwest Miramichi and Cains Rivers. Starting at 10:00 hrs on June 6, 2026, angling will be allowed from the bridge in Red Bank downriver approximately 9.8 km, to a line that is perpendicular to Route 435

Atlantic salmon fry at the hatchery have begun feeding! Once alevins have absorbed most of their yolk sacs, we give them small pellet feed. The first feeding indicates that the fry are ready to be released into the wild. Over the next couple weeks, we’ll be stocking them in their natal waters in the Miramichi River.
