A safety plan helps you have a strategy in place for safely escaping a dangerous or frightening encounter with an abuser, even if it’s just temporarily. A safety plan can also help prepare you to leave an abuser for good.

However, this is never true. Abuse is always about having power and control over another. Here is a red flag that you may be in a controlling or abusive relationship.

We are incredibly grateful to SRP Canada for their generous donation of portable chargers to support our survivors of intimate partner violence.

A phone can be a lifeline, but survivors may leave an unsafe situation without their belongings or may have had essential items like phone chargers damaged, destroyed, or withheld by an abuser. These portable chargers will help survivors stay connected to loved ones, support services, and important resources when they need them most.
