With profound sorrow, we remember the life of Mr. Khalid Usman, President of the Cancer Education Research Foundation (CERF) and a beloved supporter of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.

A chartered accountant, former Markham Councillor, and dedicated philanthropist, Khalid Usman served as a pillar of compassion for our cause for over two decades. His record-breaking fundraising efforts in Canada helped provide free cancer treatment to thousands of patients in Pakistan. He leaves a lasting legacy of service, integrity, and generosity in the Canadian-Pakistani community.

May Allah accept his noble work and grant him the highest ranks in Jannah. Ameen.

For those not performing Hajj this year, letโ€™s remember the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and devotionโ€”especially on the blessed day of Arafah. Letโ€™s increase our duas, fasting (for non-pilgrims), and good deeds.
