We recently had this beautiful visitor above our office in Kerala, India - a gorgeous peacock, the national bird of India.

Although striking, his presence shows that wildlife is encroaching into towns and cities, as animals go searching for food and water during times of scarcity and harsh weather conditions.

We recently introduced our Clean Energy Housing project and your chance to double the impact of your generosity. Make a donation in any amount by Friday, September 4th and every dollar you give will be matched.

Donate $40 and it will become $80; donate $75 and it will become $150. You get the idea!

Response has been incredible and people have already given $35,000 so far, which when doubled is $70,000 – thank you!

Exactly 25 years ago today, our founder, Msgr. Augustine “Fr. Gus” Kandathil passed away. All this week, we have been reflecting on his legacy with memories, stories and photos. Thank you for joining us.

In his memory, we created a short Fr. Gus memorial video as, well as a photo gallery, which you can see at www.safp.org/fr-gus-25th-memorial.

May Father Gus rest in peace, and his legacy continue.
