Stowarzyszenie Polskich Kombatantów - London, Canada Remembering the contributions of Polish Veterans and promoting Polish culture and history in Canada

Mission: To promote the values of honour, loyalty, service, and responsibility as exemplified by the Polish Veterans who settled in London by expanding awareness and respect for Poland's history and heritage and the contribution of Poles to the culture of Canada and the world. Objectives:
- To preserve the memory and to celebrate key events in the history of Poland and of Canada.
- To nurture th

e spirit and traditions of Polish culture, traditions, and customs, and the spirit and traditions of Polish Combatants, and of Polish contributions into the social and cultural life of Canada.
- To maintain a visible presence for the Polish-Canadian Community in London and area.
- To support youth programs.
- To promote charitable activities in our community.
- To communicate effectively to the London community by developing an effective and continuing social media presence, including a digital presence featuring our history and contributions. For hall rental inquiries, please contact [email protected]

Discover the remarkable journeys of more than 400 Polish Armed Forces veterans who settled in London, Ontario after the Second World War. Through powerful storytelling — including a personal family story — this lecture explores a meaningful chapter of our local heritage.

Presented as part of the Terrific Tales series at the London Public Library in partnership with the London and Middlesex Historical Society.
