In an effort to keep YOU, our valued donors, supporters and volunteers aware and informed on what’s happening with/in the organization your partner with… I want and need you to know that I have been granted a 3 month sabbatical from my role as Executive Director of the Soup Kitchen. This means our organization will have a PT interim Executive Director for the months of October, November and December until my anticipated return in early January 2027.
I have felt strong support from all of you in my almost 10 years in this post retirement position and respectfully request the same for John Van Dyk who will be “filling my shoes” for that time period.
I’d be more than happy to chat with any of you regarding your continued support as well as introduce you to John, sometime within the month of September.
I must add how much I’ve appreciated your support over the years and look forward to more of same in 2027 and beyond.

A LARGE team of volunteers (mostly LDS Missionaries) prepared and served a hot lunch to our 148 guests today. Thank you all for serving.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have made us part of their summer holiday serving!
