The Lethbridge Soup Kitchen is a not-for-profit association that serves over 9000 meals to the needy of Lethbridge every month! For the upcoming fiscal year it is estimated that our $30,000.00 will be needed every month. Fortunately we do not have to worry too much about facilities rent or personnel to serve the meals as all of this is donated by the city of Lethbridge and our volunteers from vari

ous groups in the city. We need financial help to continue providing meals that other organizations do not provide. Would you consider committing to a monthly donation to assist us? The Soup Kitchen is on the front line, Monday to Sunday providing hot meals…where it has been for almost 38 years! Please send all donations to:

“Today, a group of volunteers came in, giving up their sleep to start off their morning to help the less fortunate. They managed to provide a hot meal for total of 124 people at breakfast, consisting of scrambled eggs, oatmeal, toast, and juice. They worked incredibly hard to ensure a meal that would fill a person’s stomach and soul. I cannot express how thankful I am, they truly were amazing”.

In the morning I talked to the general assembly (190K to 12 students, plus teachers and some parents) at the Tween Valley Christian School/Purple Springs and in the evening it was the All Saints Parish Catholic Women’s League AGM who heard my presentation on Poverty, Addiction & Homelessness. A question about YOUR potential interest in a fundraising project called Raise Some Dough, put together by Cobs Bread… You can purchase a Cobs gift card for one loaf of “designer bread” a month for a full year for ONLY $45.00 of which $20.00 comes back to us at the Soup Kitchen.
