Today, we pause with deep gratitude.

We are incredibly thankful to the Logan Boulet Legacy Foundation for their generous donation of $2,727.27 to New West Theatre Education — a number that carries special meaning, reflecting Logan’s jersey, 27.

Logan Boulet is remembered by many for his powerful legacy following the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, and for inspiring a nation through the “Logan Boulet Effect.”

In the words of his father:
“Logan was a creative soul who loved adventures both in his own backyard and across the world. He was drawn to art and music and took time to look, listen, and create with his talents.”

While Logan himself wasn’t involved in theatre, many of his close friends were — a reminder of how deeply creativity and community were part of his world.

This gift will help open doors for young people in our community, ensuring that more children can access theatre, creativity, and a place to belong — regardless of financial barriers.

In honor of Logan, and in the spirit of Green Shirt Day, we are reminded that one life, lived with generosity and heart, can ripple outward in ways we may never fully see.

We are humbled to carry a small part of that legacy forward.

Let Logan’s light continue to shine — on our stages, in our classrooms, and in every young artist given the chance to create, grow, and be seen. 💚

We are incredibly grateful to receive a grant from the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta in support of renovations for our new education space! 🎭✨

This exciting project will not only enhance the experience for our youth students by allowing them to learn and create within a professional theatre environment, but will also help us open our doors wider to the community and emerging artists.

We are passionate about creating a space that supports creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth right here in Lethbridge. Thank you for helping us continue to serve and strengthen the arts in our community. ❤️
