Want to show off your club spirit? We’re excited to offer some new Kitimat Working Dog Society apparel!

We have hoodies, crewnecks, ponytail hats, and regular caps available, with the option to add your team name to the sleeve of the hoodie for an additional $10.

Orders are due by November 1st.

We wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to Lynnette Bosch for her time with Kitimat Working Dog Society, and for the past year, having a seat on the Executive.

From the get-go, Lynnette has always jumped in when help was needed, and with a smile on her face and positive attitude. Her willingness to lend a hand, take on whatever needed doing, and support the club has been so appreciated.

As Lynnette steps away from the Executive and our wonderful club and takes on a new adventure in Alberta, we want her to know just how grateful we are for the time, energy, and enthusiasm she has given to KWDS. Thank you, Lynnette, for being part of our team and for everything you’ve contributed along the way!

Give Kaiser a big high 5 from us and tell him to enjoy his new adventures zooming and swimming! 🐾💙 We miss you both, already.

HARVEST GAMES & TRIPLE CROWN UPDATE 👑🎃

We are gearing up for our last UpDog disc dog trial of the season and are very happy to share some exciting new developments with all the teams coming out to compete!

This trial is shaping up to be our biggest trial to date with 39 teams (split between 3 divisions by experience level) officially registered and a whopping 314 runs between the 2 days!

With the incredible turn out, we’ve made the decision to expand our placements from 1st-3rd in each division to 1st-6th! 🤩🏅 We will have special awards and prizes for Triple Crown Overall and Trial Overall Champions and Reserve Champions in each division. There will also be other special prizes announced during placements as well!

We’re pumped to be ending our 2026 disc season with a bang 💥🐕🥏

REGISTRATION IS LIVE — UpDog Triple Crown & Harvest Games 2-Day Disc Trial

We are very excited to invite you all the register for our first 2-Day disc trial here in Kitimat! This trial will be apart of the UpDog Triple Crown

Every team that plays Throw N Go, Spaced Out & Time Warp on the Saturday will be eligible for overall awards specifically for the Triple Crown as well as special awards through UpDog.

For the 2026 Triple Crown ONLY there is an AUTO 6 ROLL for Spaced Out! Which means every team playing all 3 Triple Crown games will be able to choose their throw zone!

Triple Crown overall placements and Saturday game placements will be awarded at the end of day Saturday with Sunday game placements and Trial Overall placements happening end of day Sunday!

We will also have 3 DIVISIONS! Novice, Intermediate and Expert with awards 1st-3rd for each division with Overall awards for Triple Crown Champion, Triple Crown Reserve Champion, Trial Overall Champion and Trial Overall Reserve Champion in each division!

PAIRS 4 Way Play & PAIRS Throw N Go will have all teams in the same division for placements! If you don’t have a partner for the pairs games, reach out and we’re happy to help find you a partner!

Registration opens to membership on August 24 @ 6pm with registration opening to general public August 25 @ 6pm! Members pay $15/round Non-Members pay $20/round!

📅 Date: September 26 & 27, 2026

📍 Location: Riverlodge (654 W Columbia Ave)

⏰ Start Time: 9 AM — Gates open at 8 AM for set up!

Be sure to have your UpDog Team Number ready when registering.

Reminder: If registering for PAIRS games you will need a separate PAIRS team number through UpDog OR you can choose to play FEO! Teams playing FEO will still be eligible for awards through the club, but no points will be logged with UpDog!

Spots are limited, so set your reminder and be ready—this is our last hurrah of the disc season so you won't want to miss this trial!
