What an amazing time our cadets had during our Spring ADA this weekend! Our corps made up 42 out of a total 63 cadets that went to the Rough Acres Camp in Houston. Cadets participated in multiple hikes and an expedition Olympics! Going on these trips is a great way for cadets to meet new people and to learn more skills! Shout out to our CIC of this weekend Sergeant Van Loon for doing such an outstanding job for the cadets during this weekend!

Sergeant Hall recently represented 2556 Kitimat Army Cadets by going down to Vernon BC among 16 teams to compete in the provincials for marksmanship! She shot in the individual category, and did very well. We hope to see more cadets doing marksmanship in the future! At these competitions cadets use air rifles and compete in a series of prone and standing shooting, aiming at a digital target that then transfers to a screen beside you giving you accurate scoring and adding to the professionalism and quality of the event.

What a great honor it is for our corps to be awarded the Roy Rigby-Jones Cup! This is an extremely prestigious award that is only handed out to one corps in all of British Columbia. This award is ment to show appreciation for the outstanding growth and mindset of a corps and their ability to keep their qualities through all challenges. Thank you for taking the amazing photos, and thank you to all parents, and guardians for coming to cheer on the cadets that made this outstanding award achievable!
