Hey TSW Community followers!! In order to better share our organization's information and updates, we have made the decision to close down this page. All info regarding our shelters, food share, furniture exchange, and free store will continue to be posted on our main page Tamitik Status of Women. Make sure to give us a follow so you don't miss out!

Heads up! Most of our locations will be closed on Monday, August 3rd for the statutory holiday. We hope you have a great long weekend, and we'll see you next week ☺️🌦️

The Transition House and Overnight Shelter will remain open as normal. If you have any questions regarding other program hours please reach out to 250-632-8787.

☀️ Heat Response Weekend Opening ☀️

Due to the forecasted heat, our Day Shelter/Food Share will be open this weekend to provide a cool, welcoming space and access to food and supports.

Please share to help us reach anyone who may need a safe place to escape the heat.

Our Main Office, Day Shelter, Free Store, and Childcare locations will be closed tomorrow, July 1.

The Transition House and Extreme Weather Shelter will remain open.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Main Office, Food Share/Day Shelter, and Heather's Free Store will be closed today, June 23rd, from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Please note, Free Store hours may be varied throughout the week, please contact our Main Office at 250-632-8787 to confirm they are open or to arrange donation drop-offs.

𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 - even though the weather is getting nicer, our Extreme Weather Shelter will NOT be closing! We are so happy to say we will be able to offer overnight shelter all year round. 🏠🌙🛌

Our overnight shelter is located at 480 City Centre, and operates Sunday-Saturday from 8:00pm-8:00am. For more information or inquiries contact us at 250-279-9974 or [email protected]
