October is Women’s History Month in Canada, and QPID wants to take a moment to recognize and reflect on the importance this month holds.

Take some time this month to appreciate the women who came before us and fought for the rights and opportunities we have today. While significant progress has been made, the fight for women’s rights and equality is far from over. Continuing to educate ourselves on women’s history and the challenges women still face is essential to ensuring that the struggles of the past are not repeated and that we continue working toward a more equal and inclusive future.

Let’s use this month to celebrate the achievements of women, recognize their contributions, and reflect on the work that still needs to be done! ♀️
