Independent Living Centre Kingston (ILCK) provides information, resources, and support to help people with disabilities achieve their goals and thrive in our community. Independent Living Centre Kingston (ILCK) is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live independently and fully in their communities. We provide a wide range of programs and services, in

cluding assistive device lending, information and referral support, direct funding for self-managed attendant services, and advocacy for accessibility and inclusion. Our goal is to give individuals the tools, resources, and support they need to make choices about their lives, promote independence, and participate fully in community life.

Two of our ILCK staff members, Kayla and Morgan, had the pleasure of attending the United Way KFL&A Campaign Kick-Off Breakfast this morning!

It was a great morning spent connecting with community partners, hearing about the work happening across our region, and learning more about this year’s campaign.

The goal for this fall is an incredible $4,250,000! 🎉

We’re grateful for the work United Way KFL&A does in our community and the many ways they help support people and strengthen local communities. We’re proud to be part of the campaign and look forward to doing our part to help reach this year’s goal.

We’re proud to be part of the growing community of care at Providence Village — and we’d love for you to come experience it! 💙

Providence Village is hosting its first-ever Community Open House on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1200 Princess Street in Kingston.

The morning will begin with a community presentation about Providence Village and its vision for the future, followed by an opportunity to explore the Village, connect with participating organizations, visit information booths, learn about programs and services available through organizations at the Village, and experience some of the shared spaces and grounds across the 30-acre campus.

Our organization will be participating, and we hope to see you there!

The Open House will be a great opportunity to discover the people, organizations and partnerships that make up this growing community.

Everyone is welcome, and admission is free!

Looking for disability supports in Kingston? We can help you find your way. 💙

Our Information and Referrals Support program helps connect people with disability supports, services, and resources in the Kingston community.

Whether you’re looking for accessible transportation, employment supports, recreation, funding, assistive devices, community services, or simply aren’t sure where to turn, we can help you find information and explore your options.

Sometimes that means connecting you with one of our programs. Other times, we’ll refer you to another organization or service in the community.

Independent Living Centre Kingston is starting to plan our 2027 Silent Auction, and we’re reaching out to local businesses who may be able to help.

If your business would be interested in donating a gift card, product, service, experience, or other item, we would be very grateful. Every contribution helps us make our auction a success and supports the important work we do to empower people with disabilities and their families to live independently, participate fully, and thrive in our Kingston community.
