Tonight we celebrate the hard work, growth, and commitment of the men who completed the 18-week Modern Man Family Project F.I.R.E. Program (Fathers In Relationship Education).
For the past 18 weeks, these fathers and men showed up consistently for themselves, their families, and their futures. Through education, peer support, self-reflection, and meaningful conversations, they committed to personal growth and strengthening their relationships, communication skills, emotional awareness, and fatherhood journey.
Completing an 18-week program takes dedication, accountability, and courage. We are incredibly proud of every participant for the effort they invested and the growth they achieved throughout this process.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the professionals and community leaders who took the time to support this program and our participants throughout the journey. Thank you to representatives from Federal Parole, Mayor Reid hammer Jackson, and members of the Thompson Rivers University Psychology Faculty for contributing your knowledge, encouragement, and support to the men in our community. Your involvement helps strengthen the bridge between education, community services, and real-life support for fathers and families.
A special thank you as well to our facilitator, Arthur Waters, whose dedication, mentorship, and commitment helped guide these men through the 18-week journey. Your leadership and lived experience continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of fathers, men, and families in our community.
Thank you to all of our facilitators, sponsors, community partners, and supporters who continue to believe in the importance of investing in men, fathers, and families. When fathers are supported, children, families, and communities thrive.
Congratulations graduates β this is something to be proud of. π₯π
