Hello Scavenger Hunt Teams,
What an incredible day!
Thank you so much for participating in this year's BC Wildlife Park Scavenger Hunt and for supporting the BC Wildlife Park. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and community spirit helped make this another unforgettable event.
First of all—well done!
Completing all of the challenges was no easy feat, especially in the hot, smoky weather. We truly appreciate everyone who came out, stayed positive, and gave it their all.
And can I just say... your photos were AMAZING! I absolutely loved seeing your creativity, teamwork, and sense of fun. Every team brought something unique to the event, and it was wonderful to see so many creative interpretations of the challenges.
The competition was incredibly close! Many teams came within just a few points of the top. Some forgot to include all team members in every photo, while others accidentally visited an incorrect location—but overall, you all did an outstanding job.
In fact...
We had a three-way tie for first place!
The following teams all earned PERFECT SCORES:
🏆 Sylvie Lloyd – Team Catnip Cartel
🏆 Rhiannon Evans – Team Cache Crew
🏆 Tara Holmes – Team BuzzBees
As mentioned before the event, in the case of a tie, placements would be determined by a random draw.
Three teams achieved what many thought would be impossible—a perfect score.
After reviewing every submission and confirming the results, it was time to let chance decide the final standings.
If you're reading this with butterflies in your stomach... you're not alone! I'm just as excited to reveal the results.
So, without further ado... (drumroll please)..............
🥇 1st Place: Rhiannon Evans – Team Cache Crew
🥈 2nd Place: Tara Holmes – Team BuzzBees
🥉 3rd Place: Sylvie Lloyd – Team Catnip Cartel
Congratulations to our top teams! Earning a perfect score is an incredible accomplishment, and you should all be very proud!
Best Team Costume Award
A huge congratulations goes to...

A heartfelt thank you to Tara Holmes for once again lending your time, enthusiasm, and contagious smile to help kick off our event. Your encouragement and positive energy set the tone for a fantastic day, and I truly appreciate everything you do for our participants year after year.
Photo Permission
You captured so many fantastic memories throughout the day and I would love to share photos from the event on social media, and with local media.
If you do not wish to have your team's photos shared, please contact me as soon as possible so I can ensure your photos are not used.
Finally, thank you once again for supporting the BC Wildlife Park and for making this event such a success. It was wonderful to see so many families and friends having fun together while exploring our community.
I hope you had as much fun participating as we had organizing it.
Thank you for another amazing year... and we'll see you at next year's BC Wildlife Park Scavenger Hunt!
