We appreciate everyone who joined us yesterday for our joint Business After 5 at Panacea Clinic in Waterdown ✨

It was a great evening of networking and collaboration amongst members of our business community and provided a unique opportunity to tour this state of the art facility firsthand.

A special thank-you to the team at Panacea Clinic for hosting, and to the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us on this event.

Keep an eye out 👀 for our next BA5 coming this December. We hope to see you there!

✨ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT ✨: PHOTOBOUND 📸

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on PHOTOBOUND and the inspiring work of Tanya Perdikoulis — photographer, researcher, author and speaker.

What began with a passion for family photography has grown into a fascinating exploration of the stories, relationships and emotions hidden behind the photographs we take. Tanya’s work now sits at the intersection of photography, research, writing and speaking, helping us see familiar family photos in an entirely new way.

This year marks an exciting new chapter for PHOTOBOUND with the launch of Tanya’s first book, What’s the Hang-Up? The Art of Family Politics and Photos, which explores the stories behind photographs and the ways they shape our relationships, identity, belonging and memory.

And there’s a special local connection: Tanya grew up in Carlisle, attended the last graduating class of the old Waterdown High School, and has returned to Flamborough after nearly 30 years away. ❤️

We’re thrilled to have PHOTOBOUND as part of the Flamborough business community and look forward to seeing where this next chapter takes Tanya!

You’re Invited! ☕️ 🥞 🍳

We are thrilled to invite you to the (monthly) FCC Morning Mixer, our breakfast networking club! Connect with local professionals, exchange ideas, and build valuable relationships 🤝 while enjoying a delicious light breakfast. Each meeting will feature a 10-minute member presentation, with networking before and after. Guest speakers may also be invited. A $20 registration fee will cover breakfast.

We’ll meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month at Symposium Cafe in Waterdown. This month, we’re pleased to welcome Shawna Curtin Weatherill from Expedia!

Yesterday morning, we hosted our July Morning Mixer at Symposium Cafe in Waterdown! ☀️ ☕️

Our FCC Members enjoyed a hot breakfast, connected with one another, and listened to an insightful presentation from our featured speaker, Oxford Learning Waterdown.

These breakfasts provide a valuable opportunity for our members to meet in person, share ideas, and network. 🤝 Each month, a member gets the chance to spotlight their business by presenting to the group.

We’d like to extend a special thank-you to Oxford Learning Waterdown for sharing their story about the meaningful work they’re doing in our community!
