The Waterdown BIA is nestled in the heart of the historic Waterdown Village perched atop the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. Whether enjoying a casual meal in a victorian-era mansion from 1868, partaking in the high tea experience or shopping at one of the many quaint shops, Waterdown is the perfect escape in the city for those looking to slow down and savour dining, nature and rural attractions.

It might not feel like it outside right now, but Winterdown is just around the corner, and we need amazing community volunteers to help bring the holiday magic to Waterdown Village!

From helping with the festivities to making sure everything runs smoothly, your time and enthusiasm can help make this year’s Winterdown Tree Lighting a memorable experience for our whole community.

This year we're especially seeking some outgoing individuals who will dress up as the Grinch and as Buddy the Elf to engage with families and take some photos. No mascot experience necessary, just a little holiday spirit and energy!

The final fright is here! 🎃 We’re wrapping up our Scarecrow Walk Posts just in time for Halloween and Hamilton Day, but there’s still time to explore the Village, check out these creative community creations, find clues and cast your vote for your favourite!

A huge thank you to all the local businesses, community partners and talented creators who helped bring this year’s Scarecrow Walk to life. You’ve certainly raised the bar!

Our community partners are giving us plenty of reasons to smile! 🎃

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on the community partner scarecrows who help make Waterdown Village such a special place. Many of these amazing businesses and organizations also helped bring last weekend’s Treat Walk to life, welcoming families, giving out treats and keeping our streets safe throughout the Village!

We’re so grateful for the community spirit, generosity and support that make events like these possible. ❤️
