Hey rebels,

I just wanted to let everybody know Alexander Place long term care home located at 329 Parkside Dr, Waterdown. They will be having their annual car and bike show on September 11th at 6:00 p.m. They're asking any cars to show up around 5:30. Please consider it if you have time go. It's always a good time and a good cause. I will try to be there myself but I can't guarantee that date yet. I do hope I can make it and see you all there. If you can comment on this post and let us know if you will attend so we have an approximate number of how many people are going to show up. Please put it in your calendars and let's make this a good one.

Reminder to everyone for this event tomorrow.
I hope to see you all there tomorrow evening, it's looking like a beautiful day. I've been told there will be food and a raffle. So let's bring some smiles and new memories to the residents of Alexander Place!

Just want to let everyone know there is a very good chance Monday Nights Cruise Night may still happen. A few fine individuals who have a desire to keep this amazing event alive and well are working hard to finalize a deal and Rebels will support them every step of the way! Greetings to all the supporters of the Rebels community! It's been a journey filled with contemplation and heartfelt discussions as we mapped out the course for this year's cherished Monday night gatherings.

The decision that lies before us hasn't been made lightly. The Rebels team, after much deliberation and with heavy hearts, has come to the conclusion that we will not be proceeding with the 2024 Monday Show n' Shine under the banner of the Rebels Classic Car & Hot Rod Club. This choice, influenced by a multitude of factors, was incredibly difficult to make, and we fully understand it may not sit well with everyone.

In our discussions with both Canadian Tire & The Burlington Centre, we found understanding and shared disappointment. However, they remain open and hopeful, welcoming proposals from any group ready to carry the torch forward for this extraordinary event.

From the outset, our ambition with the Monday night events was to create a platform for giving back, to support local community charities through our shared passion for classic & specialty cars. While we've achieved some success in raising vital funds, the path to Rebels fundraising goals—balancing time, finances, and resources—has proven challenging for Rebels. As we evolve, Rebels will continue to thrive as a hub for car enthusiasts, refining our mission to more accurately reflect our goals and aspirations in the weeks ahead.

The spirit of the Monday night events is something we dearly wish to preserve. Thus, we're asking you or you reaching out to organizations, groups, or individuals with the enthusiasm and vision to take over this magnificent weekly gathering. We are committed to facilitating a smooth transition, offering our insights and discussing potential asset transfers to ensure the event's ongoing success. We extend our deepest gratitude to every car enthusiast who joined us on those magical Monday nights, to everyone who supported and believed in our vision. The friendships forged in the glow of headlights and the warmth of shared stories are treasures we cherish.
