Beautiful work being done by our members at Hamilton Scenic Specialty Inc.!

Our scenic team putting finishing touches on a show deck heading to Toronto soon . The deck is to look like an old rehearsal floor complete with spike tape marks and lots of wear and tear . The funny thing is it doesn’t look all that different from our fit up deck directly underneath it . It’s very “ Paul Klee “ looking actually….. I don’t think we charged enough !

A statement from the IATSE Pride Committee:

It has been brought to our attention that one of our Regional Coordinators was recently the victim of some particularly hateful comments in response to an email they sent inviting their membership to join them in their city’s Pride Parade. An event that should be a celebration of love and solidarity became the target of one person’s vitriol.

We want to unequivocally state that this behaviour is completely unacceptable.

The IATSE Pride Committee condemns any and all attacks on our LGBTQ+ kin and stands with our Regional Coordinator. We call on all of our allies to stand in solidarity, march with us, and help spread the love. We refuse to allow hateful individuals to rain on our parade.
