☀️🎶 Summer lovin’! 🎶☀️

As summer starts to wind down, we thought this was the perfect time to share Pat showing off one of his favourite shirts! 😂

If you know Pat, you know about his love for Grease — and especially Sandy! ❤️ So when Pat got his very own Grease shirt, there was really only one way to do it… Danny had to go, and Pat had to take his place! 😎😂

And judging by that smile, we’d say Pat is pretty happy with his new role! 🎬🎶

🎨✨ Art with Liam! ✨🎨

Liam recently had the chance to share his artistic talents with his friends by leading his very own art class! 🖌️🎨 It was wonderful to see him take the lead, share his creativity and show everyone what he can do.

At CCLL, we love creating opportunities for people to share their talents, build confidence and foster independence — and sometimes that means letting the student become the teacher! ❤️

A great class, some fantastic artwork, and one very proud artist! 👏🎨 Way to go, Liam!

☀️🏅 Day Program Summer Games! 🏅☀️

Last Friday was the perfect summer day for our Day Program Summer Games! 🎉 We brought a little field-day fun to the afternoon with relay races, face painting, medals, delicious food, prizes and plenty of smiles along the way! 🏃‍♀️🎨🥇🌭🎁

A HUGE shout-out to Badger Infrastructure Solutions for supplying the food and firing up the BBQ for us! We’re so grateful for your help in making the day extra special. And a special thank you to Jeff and George for keeping everyone fed and happy under the Badger tent! 🔥🌭🙌

We also want to thank Michaels Stores for donating the awesome prize bags! 🎁 Your generosity helped us finish off the day with a little extra excitement.

It was a beautiful, hot summer day filled with fun, laughter and a bit of friendly competition. Our Day Program Summer Games were definitely a day to remember! ☀️🏅❤️

We are deeply saddened by the loss of a beloved member of our Signature family. 💛

Robert, known to most as Bob, brought plenty of laughs, lots of personality, and his own unique sense of humour to those around him. He will be missed by so many who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We’re grateful to have been a part of his life and to have known him over the years. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone who loved him. 💛

Art Unity Collective is almost here! 🎨✨

We’re excited to be part of this collaborative project with Centerpoint Facilitation Inc., celebrating the creativity and artistic talents of local individuals with developmental disabilities and Housing First participants.

The artwork will be showcased throughout the community, with the Art Unity Collective Gala Night coming up on September 10 at 6:30 PM at
Grant Berg Gallery. Everyone is welcome, so save the date! 💛

It’s always nice to have a welcoming place in the community to slow down, enjoy some quiet time, and do something you love. The library has been such a wonderful space for everyone, and Donna looks pretty happy to be there! 💛
