Badger has been a wonderful employer to Dakota, and their support goes beyond the workplace! This summer, they joined us for our Day Program Summer Games, taking care of the BBQ, supplying everything needed, and even jumping into the fun themselves! 🌭🏃

The Storm have always been so welcoming to the people we support, including some very dedicated fans in our Signature family! ❤ We appreciate their support and their willingness to help shine a light on inclusion in our community.

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month!

The theme for DEAM 2026 is “Leading Through Change: Proactive Accessibility and Inclusion for the Future.” It’s a great reminder of the importance of creating workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute and succeed.

Throughout October, we’ll be shining a spotlight on some of the local businesses and employers who provide meaningful employment opportunities for the people we support, along with some DEAM moments happening throughout our community.

So keep an eye out and follow along with us throughout the month as we celebrate inclusive employment, opportunity and the contributions people make in our community!

Today, September 30, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

In preparation for today, the CCLL group spent time together learning about the significance of this day and the history and lasting impact of residential schools. They took time to learn, listen and reflect together before participating in art activities connected to Truth and Reconciliation, including colouring orange shirt designs as a reminder that Every Child Matters.

We’re grateful for opportunities to learn together, have meaningful conversations and continue growing our understanding of truth and reconciliation. 🧡

Some days are just better with a furry friend by your side. 🐾❤️

Natalie was all smiles as she spent some cuddle time with Izzy before heading out for a walk around the neighbourhood. And honestly, we can see why! There’s something pretty special about the way animals can bring a little extra joy, connection and happiness to an ordinary day. 🥰

A big hug, a nice walk and a sweet companion — sounds like a pretty perfect outing to us! 🐶🌿
